HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR LESSONS?

Lessons cost £55 per hour or £30 per half hour.

CAN YOU TRAVEL TO MY HOUSE FOR THE LESSONS?

Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule, it is very unlikely I will be able to travel.

DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS?

I completed my PGCE in secondary teaching at Reading University. I also have completed grade 8 with ABRSM in piano and cello.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO TEACHING?

Everyone is different in how they learn. Therefore, I have a range of resources to ensure that all my students are able to reach their full potential.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING THE LESSONS?

Apart from learning piano, I will also cover aural tests, sight reading and a few music theory games. Although these are your lessons, so if you're not keen on one of them, we can just skip them.

MUST I DO EXAMS?

No! I encourage everyone to do exams as I believe it gives you good goals to aim for, however, if you don't want to do them, you don't have to do them.

I'M A COMPLETE BEGINNER TO THE PIANO AND TO MUSIC. I KNOW NOTHING. IS THAT OK?

Yes! We'll just start from the very beginning.

DO YOU DO AD-HOC LESSONS?

Yes, for those students who might travel quite a bit for work, or live busy lives, I do ad-hoc lessons. I will do my best to try and fit in as many lessons as we can.
